I am developing a robot that can serve the drinks, the night service, and perhaps to welcome guests. I must be able to distinguish between people and inanimate objects, so I plan on using PIR sensor. But it is possible that a PIR sensors are mounted on a mobile robot? What about the "warm up" time? There PIR sensors require no warm up time?
